Brand Mark and Web Design
Brand mark and web design for my friend Alex Joseph Hansen, a professional mountain athlete and photographer.
I partnered with Alex to learn more about his vision, his mission, and his life to craft a mark that felt true to him.
Alex needed a brand mark to grow into as he expanded his online presence, and to serve as a signature mark for him to keep his work identifiable.
Alex and I met several times to dig deeper about what makes him different. We used his passion for his work with his non-profit, the Alaska Wilderness Project, as a base to build off of.
A mark that felt like Alex that would fit well on photo prints, his socials, and his new site.
The final mark reflects on the glacial river deltas of Alaska, with a human hand reaching for the next hold while nodding back to the different humans and cultures he meets on his adventures.
